🔒 Everything runs 100% in your browser. Your files and input are never uploaded to any server.
This tool converts line-separated text or already-bulleted lists into Markdown bullet/numbered lists, HTML <ul>/<ol> markup, or a custom bullet symbol of your choice. It's handy for writers and developers moving list content between blog posts, documents, and code, and every conversion happens right in your browser so nothing you paste is sent to a server.
How to use
- Paste your list or plain text lines into the input box at the top.
- Choose a target format: Markdown unordered/ordered, HTML <ul>/<ol>, or a custom bullet.
- Toggle 'remove existing bullets/numbers' or 'skip empty items' as needed.
- Copy the converted list from the result box using the copy button.
FAQ
- Will it strip existing markers like -, *, or 1. before converting?
- Yes, with 'remove existing bullets/numbers' enabled, it recognizes common markers such as -, *, +, •, ✔ and numbered prefixes and strips them before applying the new format.
- What happens to blank lines in my list?
- If 'skip empty items' is on, blank lines are automatically excluded from the result; turn it off to keep them as empty items.
- Is my text uploaded anywhere?
- No, the conversion runs entirely in your browser and your text is never sent to a server.
