Initials Generator
Convert a list of names into formatted initials in one go
Paste in a list of names — one per line — and this tool pulls the first letter of each name and formats them as initials. It's a quick way to generate initials for signatures, monograms, email handles, or document templates. The names you enter are processed entirely in your browser and never sent anywhere.

- Use the checkbox to include or skip middle initials as needed
- Copy the initials that appear in the results box with the copy button
FAQ
- What happens with three or more names, like a middle name?
- By default, the first letter of every name is included. Uncheck 'include middle name' and only the first and last name initials are used.
- Does it work with non-Latin names?
- The tool takes the first character of each space-separated word, so other scripts will technically work, but it's built and optimized for Western-style names like John Doe.
- Are the names I enter stored on a server?
- No. Every conversion happens instantly in your browser — nothing is uploaded or saved.
