- What happens to the corners when I crop to a circle?
- The area outside the circle is saved as a transparent PNG, so it looks like a round profile anywhere you place it, regardless of the background color.
- What size should I save at?
- 320px is plenty for most profiles like Instagram and messaging apps; choose 640px or larger if you need high resolution. Enlarging beyond the original may reduce quality.
- Is my photo uploaded to a server?
- No. Image processing and cropping all happen inside your browser, and your photo is never uploaded to a server.
