From a list of numbers pasted separated by commas or line breaks, this tool calculates the count, sum, mean, median, mode, variance, and standard deviation all at once. It's useful for students, professionals, and researchers who need basic statistics for grades, surveys, or experimental data.

How to use

  1. Paste your numbers into the input box, separated by commas or line breaks.
  2. The count, sum, mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, variance, and standard deviation appear instantly.
  3. Use the 'Sample basis (n−1)' checkbox to switch between population and sample standard deviation.

FAQ

How do population and sample standard deviation differ?
The population basis divides the sum of squared deviations by n, while the sample basis divides by n−1. When the values you surveyed are only a portion (a sample) rather than the whole, use the sample basis (n−1).
Why does the mode show 'None'?
If every number appears just once and all differ, there's no most-frequent value, so it shows 'None'. If several values share the highest frequency, they're all shown together.
Is the data I enter sent to a server?
No. All statistical calculations happen entirely within your browser, and the list of numbers you enter is never sent to or stored on a server.
