FAQ

I spend a lot on cards, so why is my deduction zero?
The deduction only kicks in on spending above 25% of your gross salary. If your total card spending is under that threshold, there's no deductible amount and the result shows zero.
Which card is used first to fill the threshold — credit or check?
Credit card spending, which has the lower 15% rate, is applied to the 25% threshold first, so that the higher-rate categories — check cards, traditional markets, public transit, and culture — are preserved as deductible as much as possible.
Why is the culture spending field disabled?
The deduction for books, performances, museums, and gym memberships is only available to employees earning 70 million KRW or less in gross salary, so the field is disabled automatically above that level.
