FAQ
- Does the order of the names change the score?
- No. The inputs are sorted before hashing, so A and B gives exactly the same result as B and A.
- Does it work with English names, or only Korean ones?
- It works with any name. The hash is calculated from Unicode character codes, so names in every language — emoji included — are fully supported.
- Why does the score always land between 40% and 100% instead of the full 0-100% range?
- This is a fun tool, not a serious statistical prediction, so the floor is set at 40% on purpose to keep even a low score from feeling harsh. Within that range, though, the same pair of names always produces the exact same score, based on how the hash value comes out.
