🔒 Everything runs 100% in your browser. Your files and input are never uploaded to any server.
Enter a title and description to preview exactly how they'll appear in Google search results, and to generate meta tag code you can paste in right away. Beyond character count, it measures the 'pixel width' Google actually uses to truncate, so you can see at a glance whether your title gets cut off—handy for bloggers, marketers, and developers.
How to use
- Enter your title and meta description.
- Check in real time whether the title width (px) and character count and the description length exceed the recommended ranges.
- Inspect truncation and how it will actually appear in the Google search result preview below.
- Copy the generated meta tags with the 'Copy tags' button and paste them inside your page's <head>.
FAQ
- Is my content or file sent to a server?
- No. Entering the title, description, and URL, measuring the pixel width, and generating the tags all happen only in your browser. No data is ever transmitted or stored on a server.
- How many characters should the title and description be?
- We recommend about 60 characters for the title (within 600px pixel width) and about 160 for the description. Because Google truncates by pixel width rather than character count, this tool measures the actual width with canvas and flags truncation risk.
- Is this preview 100% identical to actual Google search results?
- Not completely. Google sometimes rewrites the title and description depending on the query, device, and context. This tool is an approximate preview based on standard font and pixel-width best practices—use it to check for truncation in advance.
