Splitting a group dinner or trip where different people paid for different rounds can get confusing fast. This tool lets you list participants and expenses (who paid, how much, and who joined), then works out each person's net balance and the smallest possible set of payments needed to settle everyone up. All calculations run right in your browser, so no names or amounts are ever sent to a server.

How to use

1. Add the names of everyone who took part in the outing to the member list.
2. Register each expense with its description, amount, payer, and the participants who should share it.
3. Once all expenses are entered, check the settlement report at the top to see who should pay whom and how much.
4. Remove or edit any expense or member at any time if you made a mistake.

FAQ

Does it work when several people owe money and several are owed money at once?

Yes. It first calculates each person's net balance (what they paid minus their fair share), then matches debtors with creditors to minimize the total number of transfers needed.

Can I handle expenses that only some people joined, like a second round?

Yes. You choose participants separately for each expense, so the first round can include everyone while the second only includes those who stayed.

Are the names and amounts I enter stored or sent anywhere?

No. Everything is calculated locally in your browser and resets when you reload the page.
