FAQ
- What basis is used to calculate the deductions?
- It uses the 2024 employee contribution rates (national pension 4.5%, health insurance 3.545%, long-term care 12.95%, employment insurance 0.9%) and a simplified tax calculation. National pension applies the upper and lower limits on the standard monthly income.
- Why might this differ from the take-home pay I receive from my employer?
- Income tax is estimated on an annual basis and then divided by 12, so it differs from the actual withholding (simplified tax table), the mix of non-taxable items, various tax credits, and mid-year hiring or resignation. This is for reference and may differ from reality, so check your pay stub for the exact amount.
- Is the salary information I enter sent to a server?
- No. All calculations happen only within your browser, and no inputs such as your salary or dependents are ever transmitted to or stored on a server.
