FAQ
- Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
- It inserts a hand-drawn signature image, which is different from certificate-based digital signatures (PKI). It's widely used for general confirmation and consent, but for documents with strict legal requirements, use a dedicated service.
- Won't the signature's white background cover the original?
- The signature is inserted as a transparent-background PNG, so it sits naturally on top of the original content.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Creating the signature image and inserting it into the PDF all happen in your browser, and your files are never sent to a server.
