How to use

  1. Paste the long text you want to turn into a thread into the input box above.
  2. Set the maximum characters per tweet (280 by default) and whether to add 1/n numbering.
  3. Review each automatically split tweet and grab them one by one or with 'Copy All'.
  4. Paste them into Twitter in order to complete your thread.

FAQ

Will words get cut off in the middle?
No. Text is split on spaces (word boundaries), so words won't break mid-word. That said, if a single word is longer than the character limit, it will have to be split character by character.
Does adding 1/n numbering change the character count?
Yes. Numbering like ' (1/5)' counts toward the tweet length, so we subtract the numbering length up front and fill the body accordingly so no tweet exceeds the limit.
Is the text I enter sent to a server?
No. All splitting happens entirely within your browser, and the text you enter is never sent to or stored on a server.
