- Is my file sent to a server?
- No. All processing, including the SSID and password, happens entirely within your browser, and no information is ever sent to or stored on a server.
- Which phones connect automatically?
- iPhones on iOS 11 or later and Android devices on Android 10 or later show a connection prompt when they scan a WiFi QR with the default camera. Some older devices may need a QR scanner app.
- Can the password contain special characters?
- Yes. Reserved characters such as semicolons, commas, and backslashes are automatically escaped so the code is read correctly.
