🔒 Everything runs 100% in your browser. Your files and input are never uploaded to any server.
This tool lets you set a start and end time in an MP3, M4A, WAV, or other audio file and cut out exactly that section, saving it as an MP3. Since everything is processed in your browser with no uploads, it's handy for making ringtones, highlights, and samples.
How to use
- Drag and drop your audio file, or click to load it.
- Use the preview to find your spot, then enter a start and end time (for example, 1:30 or 90 seconds).
- Click 'Trim section', then preview and download the trimmed MP3 once it's done.
FAQ
- Is my file sent to a server?
- No. All processing happens only in your browser via WebAssembly, so your audio is never uploaded or stored. The first run may be briefly slow while the conversion engine downloads.
- What format should I enter the times in?
- You can use minutes:seconds (e.g. 1:30), hours:minutes:seconds (e.g. 0:02:05), or a plain number of seconds (e.g. 90). The end time must always come after the start time.
- Does the source have to be an MP3?
- No. You can load a variety of formats, including M4A, WAV, AAC, and OGG, and the result is saved as a widely compatible MP3 (192kbps).
