Convert amounts across seven currencies — USD, EUR, JPY, KRW, GBP, AUD, and CAD — in an instant. Instead of pulling from a live API, it converts using base rates (relative to 1 USD) that you enter yourself, so you can look up the real rates, plug them in, and get a personal exchange calculator that runs entirely in your browser with nothing sent to a server. How to use
- At the top, enter the amount to convert and pick the source currency.
- Select the target currency and the converted amount appears automatically.
- In the "Exchange Rate Settings" table below, edit each currency's base rate (against 1 USD) to whatever value you want.
- Use the "Copy Result" button to copy the conversion as text.
FAQ
- Does it use live exchange rates?
- No. This is a manual calculator that runs without any live API calls. For accurate conversions, look up the current rate yourself, enter it in the "Exchange Rate Settings" table, and then calculate.
- Are the rates I enter saved?
- They persist only for your browser session. Nothing is sent to a server or stored elsewhere, and refreshing the page resets everything to the defaults.
- Why is every currency based on USD?
- Normalizing every rate against 1 USD keeps the math simple — with a common base, the tool can derive the cross rate for any currency pair automatically.
