FAQ
- How are the progressive tiers divided?
- The off-season has 3 tiers split at 200 kWh and 400 kWh, while summer (July–August) widens them to 300 kWh and 450 kWh. The higher the tier you reach, the higher the unit price and base charge.
- What's included in the total bill?
- The base charge and progressive energy charge, plus the climate-environment charge and fuel-cost adjustment, make up the electricity subtotal, to which 10% VAT and a 3.7% electric power industry fund are added. Amounts under 10 won are dropped.
- Does it exactly match my actual statement?
- It may differ and is for reference only. Welfare and multi-child discounts, the essential-usage guarantee deduction, prorated calculation based on the meter-reading date, and rate revisions aren't reflected, so check your KEPCO statement for the exact amount.
