FAQ
- How is the calorie burn calculated?
- It multiplies each activity's MET (metabolic equivalent of task) value by your weight and duration, using the formula MET × 3.5 × weight (kg) × time (min) × 0.005. The result is an estimate — your actual burn varies with fitness level, intensity, and conditions.
- My activity isn't on the list
- The calculator currently covers MET values for eight activities: running, cycling, swimming, weight training, hiking, yoga/stretching, soccer, and badminton. Pick one with a similar intensity to get a rough ballpark figure.
- Is my weight or workout data saved anywhere?
- No. Every calculation happens inside your browser — nothing is stored or transmitted to a server.
