Run repeated mock draws on your numbers to see prize-tier odds and after-tax returns under Korea's 22% and 33% lottery tax rates

Run mass simulated draws with your own picks (or auto-generated numbers) to see how often each prize tier hits, what the winnings add up to, and what you'd actually take home after Korea's tiered lottery tax rates — with the final return on investment (ROI) calculated for you.

FAQ

How is tax on Korean lottery winnings calculated?
Under the lottery tax rules revised in 2023, prizes of 2 million KRW or less (5th place, 4th place, and some typical 3rd-place wins) are tax-free. Amounts above 2 million KRW up to 300 million KRW are taxed at 22%, and anything over 300 million KRW is withheld at 33% in combined income and local income tax.
Are the prize amounts in the simulation real?
The simulator uses historical average payouts for Dhlottery's Lotto 6/45 (roughly 2 billion KRW for 1st place, about 50 million KRW for 2nd, and so on). Actual prizes vary because they're divided pro rata based on each draw's total sales and the number of winners.
I ran the simulation twice with the exact same numbers and got different results — is that a bug?
That's expected, not a bug. Just like a real lottery draw, every draw in this simulator is an independent random draw, so running the same numbers again will naturally produce different outcomes each time. The more draws you run, the closer your results should trend toward the theoretical odds.
