- We assume a standard filled paper cup holds approximately 80g of dry kibble to convert portion weights to cup count.
- Can I use this calculator's result as-is for a pregnant or nursing pet?
- No. Pets in late pregnancy or nursing can need up to 2-3 times more calories than usual — it's a special life stage that the calculator's standard categories (growth, adult, senior, overweight) don't cover accurately. Please consult your vet to adjust the feeding amount in these cases.
