- Is my file sent to a server?
- No. The entire process, from entering the URL to generating the QR, happens within your browser, and your link is never sent to or logged on a server.
- Do I need to include http://?
- No. If there's no other protocol like tel: or mailto:, https:// is automatically prepended to form a valid link. The corrected address is shown below the input box.
- Could changing colors stop it from scanning?
- If the foreground and background colors have low contrast, cameras may fail to read the code. Keeping the foreground dark and the background light ensures reliable scanning.
