FAQ
- How is the Korean weekly holiday allowance calculated?
- If your contracted hours reach 15 or more in a week, you qualify. The allowance is (total weekly hours ÷ 40) × 8 hours, capped at 40 hours, multiplied by your hourly rate — the standard method used under Korea's Labor Standards Act.
- Does it handle overnight shifts that run past midnight?
- Yes. If the clock-out time is earlier than the clock-in time, the calculator treats it as an overnight shift and adds 24 hours so your total hours stay accurate.
- Are my entries saved or sent anywhere?
- No. Everything is calculated in your browser, and refreshing the page clears all your entries. If you need a record, copy the results before you leave.
