This tool offers a countdown timer and a lap-capable stopwatch as tabs, ready to use right in your browser with no installation. It's a convenient one-tap-to-start companion whenever you need to keep time for cooking, workouts, or focus sessions (Pomodoro).
How to use
- On the 'Timer' tab, enter minutes and seconds or hit a preset (like Focus 25 min) to set the time.
- Press Start to begin the countdown; an alarm sounds when it reaches zero.
- On the 'Stopwatch' tab, measure elapsed time with start/stop, lap, and reset.
- You can pause anytime and reset back to the starting value whenever you need.
FAQ
- I can't hear the timer's alarm sound.
- Browsers require a user action to play sound. You need to have pressed 'Start' on the page at least once, and please also check that your tab, system, and volume aren't muted.
- Is the time accurate even when I'm looking at another tab?
- Yes. The remaining time is calculated from real timestamps, so even if the display refreshes slowly in a background tab, the exact moment it ends is still accurate.
- Are my set times or records sent to a server?
- No. Both the timer and stopwatch run entirely within your browser, and no data is ever sent to or stored on a server.
