FAQ
- What do utm_source, medium, and campaign each mean?
- Source is the referrer (naver, google), medium is the channel type (cpc, email, social), and campaign is the campaign name (summer_sale). These three are core fields in GA analysis, so it's best to fill them in.
- Will the existing query string (the '?' part) in my URL be erased?
- No. Any query parameters already in the base URL are kept as-is; only the UTM fields are added or updated, so your existing link keeps working.
- Is the URL I enter sent to a server?
- No. The link is assembled entirely within your browser, and the address and parameters you enter are never sent to or stored on a server.
