Trigonometric Ratio & Radian Converter
Real-time conversions for Degree ↔ Radian and visual 6 trigonometric functions (Sin, Cos, Tan) on a Unit Circle chart
Enter angles or fractional Radian expressions (e.g. pi/4) to calculate basic ratios. The visual SVG unit circle helps visualize triangle vectors dynamically.

How to use
- Select your preferred unit: Degree (°) or Radian (rad).
- Input the value. Radical pi division syntax is fully supported for radians.
- Check the interactive SVG unit circle vectors and retrieve special fractional ratios.
FAQ
- What is the special angle detection feature?
- For fundamental coordinates (like 30, 45, 60 degrees), it outputs exact symbolic values (e.g. √3/2, 1/√2) alongside decimal estimates.
- Why do some values return 'Undefined'?
- Tangent at 90° or Cotangent at 180° result in division by zero. The calculator identifies these boundary errors and formats them safely.
- Can I enter negative angles or values greater than 360 degrees?
- Yes. Even out-of-range values like -30° or 450° are converted to their equivalent position on the unit circle, so the trig ratios come out correct either way. For instance, 450° is treated the same as 90° after wrapping once around the full 360° circle.
