Korea Comprehensive Income Tax Estimator (Salary + Business + Rental)

Enter salary, business, rental, and pension income with your deductions, and it builds the taxable base for you before computing tax payable

Enter gross salary, business income, rental income, and pension or other income separately, and the estimator applies Korea's standard employment income deduction formula along with personal, national pension, and other income deductions to build your taxable base — the step you'd otherwise have to work out by hand. It's aimed at freelancers, employees running a side business, and landlords: anyone whose income arrives from several directions and who wants a sense of the bill before Korea's May filing season (종합소득세 신고). The full income and deduction breakdown copies out as text, and nothing you enter leaves your browser.

FAQ

Will the amount this calculator shows match what I actually file?
No. It's a simplified model built on the standard progressive rates (6-45%) and the standard employment income deduction formula used from tax year 2023 onward. Tax credits, exemptions, and detailed year-end settlement items aren't included, so your final assessed tax may differ.
What should I enter for business income?
Enter your net income after deducting necessary expenses from revenue, not your gross sales or total receipts.
Is the income information I enter stored anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated in your own browser, and nothing is transmitted to or saved on a server.
