Korean Credit Score Guide & Simulator

A guide to how KCB and NICE score you in Korea, plus a what-if simulator for your financial moves

This tool breaks down the factors that KCB and NICE, South Korea's two main consumer credit bureaus, use to build your score, then lets you simulate how actions like paying off a delinquency, prepaying a loan, or lowering your credit utilization might move that score. It's useful if you're preparing to apply for a credit card or a loan and want a sense of where to focus. Every calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.

FAQ

Do the score changes in this simulator exactly match my real grade?
No. It's a model reconstructed from each bureau's published guidelines. Your actual score movement depends on your total debt, length of credit history, and existing credit record, so treat this as a directional guide only.
Why are my KCB and NICE scores different?
KCB (Korea Credit Bureau) and NICE Information Service are Korea's two major consumer credit rating agencies, and they weight the same financial behavior differently, which produces different scores and grades.
Are the scores I enter saved or sent anywhere?
No. Everything runs inside your own browser and nothing is transmitted to or stored on a server.
