- How do I subtract VAT from a total amount?
- Use the 'Total → Split supply price' tab to divide the total by 1.1 for the supply price, with the difference shown as VAT (tax). For example, a total of 1,100,000 breaks down into a supply price of 1,000,000 and VAT of 100,000.
- Can I calculate with a rate other than 10%?
- Yes. Change the number in the VAT rate field and it instantly recalculates at that rate. Amounts are rounded to the nearest whole unit automatically.
- Is the amount I enter sent to a server?
- No. All calculations happen entirely within your browser, and the amounts you enter are never sent to or stored on a server.
